Unlike regular hotels, NY Apartment 51, an apartment hotel located in Midtown West, Manhattan, lends actual apartment rooms for you to stay. This idea is the backbone of our concept of allowing our customers to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the city while feeling like they live here.
Location, fees, and services
Our location keeps you at walking distance from Times Square, Broadway Musical Theatres, Central Park, Lincoln Center, as well as 5th Avenue. Get on a subway nearby to get to other must-go places like Chelsea, Madison Square Garden, or downtown. There will be many people outside, even at night, so feel safe and
stay at a great spot for a very reasonable price. Our staff will be responsible so go spend a great time in New York.
About the building
Our apartment hotel is an apartment. We will be lending you an apartment room so please be responsible during your stay.
We are not subletting rooms. The owner has given us permission to rent out rooms as a hotel facility.
We have locks for all room doors as well as the entrance to the building so we assure you your safety.
Please be aware that there are no elevators in the building as you will be walking up the stairs.
No Smoking anywhere in the building.
There are no washing machines or dryers in the building. However, there will be a coin laundry one block away.
*We will not provide money for laundry.
Common Room
We will have one room opened on the third floor as a common room. There will be cooking utensils, tableware, as well as condiment. Please feel free to use them when in need. The room will generally be open from 7am to 11pm.
*You may use the room after 10pm as long as you do not make too much noise and disturb others resting in their rooms.
We are now offering breakfast for self-service on weekdays!
This includes: bread, bagels, (with jam and margarine) and hot drinks (coffee and tea).
Cleaning and Staff
Our staff members are not residents of the apartment building.
They will be here for your check-in and for cleaning.
They will not enter your rooms. (Except dormitories―for bed making after each person checks out)
The staff will only clean the bathrooms of each unit room and the common room. They will not clean your personal rooms or make your beds.
*You may arrange room cleaning and bed making with the staff for an additional fee.
Please take care of your own garbage. We have a garbage disposal on the second floor.
